Each day as I gain new connections, and receive amazing before and after pictures I smile a bigger. Knowing that I am growing my very own business, that I am the boss lady is an invigorating feeling! You see, I've spent the past 5 years, since graduating high school, not knowing what I wanted in the career department. Serving tables has been my main source of income for the past two years. While the money is undeniably good, the restaurant industry is not so lovely. The hours are long, people can be so rude, and you can expect to work every single holiday! I am over it...
Not to mention I have this reoccurring knee injury that just doesn't do well with 7 tables and 10 hour shifts. I'm coming to terms with the reality that surgery is more than likely my best option. This girl refuses to limp down the isle!! Obviously, this will take me out of the serving industry and the general working field for at least a couple weeks.
A few months ago, this wouldn't have even been an option in my mind. There would've been no way, that I could've seen, to take me out of working and be a one income family until my recovery. Now we're in a different place. Now we have a growing business and are not forced into living as a one income family. We are so thankful for that!
