Back at it!

    Wow! Where do I even begin... It's been too long since I've taken a seat with my laptop and poured my heart out over a keyboard. One of the main reasons I started this blog was because I've learned rapidly in my adult life how fast time goes by. It's a reality that I work at everyday to end. Time is fictional and all we really have is RIGHT NOW. Looking back on previous posts, reading my own words as if someone else made them appear. Some of my most precious moments are laid out on a glowing computer screen. Talk about nostalgic!

The Battaglia Tribe; 5 years together, 1 year married.

    Life is a beautiful thing made up of millions of small blessings and big miracles. We all have a story worth telling and my hope is to share ours and allow God to make something beautiful out of it. The good and the bad, the ups and the downs, that's real life! We live in a world today that is honestly a highlight reel. We're taught to boast about our accomplishments and hide the hard times. When in all reality the bad, the downs, the hard times are what shape you, what tests your faith, and ultimately makes you a warrior!

    Now I won't lie, usually during those times I don't feel much like a warrior but I'm always reminded that what the enemy uses to hurt us, God will use to prosper us. He has shown me how true this promise is over and over and over again. I can't tell you how much I take refuge in knowing I am not in control of the bigger picture! Sometimes its a battle with my false self to turn over complete control to Him. Its not of our flesh to do this naturally. In fact our world teaches us the opposite; no one looks out for you, its every man for themselves, and stepping on others to get to the top is praised and called "determination". When I look at this with my spirit eyes, with the truth, I know this is not the calling on our lives! 

    The enemy comes to kill, steal, and destroy! In many situations the enemy is difficult to pinpoint and that's the way he wants it. If we continue to listen to the ways of the world, the enemy's hold will only get stronger. It is beyond important to Mr. Battaglia and I to raise our vibrations and prepare our souls for the next adventure. Its amazing what happens when you awaken ALL of you. Our God has created such an incredible universe that we are as much apart of as the seeds that grow in the ground to the tides that follow the moon. We are made to live in this moment while preparing our souls for the next. When you open your eyes to other dimensions you will never think of life, death, or the universe in the same way again. 

    So here's to life and the unexpected, no matter what comes our way we'll ride on angels' wings and find God's beauty in it all. I am so thankful for this little space I call mine on the enormous world wide web and I hope my words will make some kind of positive impact. At the very least, I'll have memories written out that will never fade away. The good and bad memories that make up this crazy, beautiful life!
