DIY Engagement Photos

One of the biggest expenses wedding related, can be photography. However, if your good with photo editing and have some patience these priceless pictures could cost you next to nothing!! You're going to want "engagement pictures" to remember this blissful time in your relationship not to mention they're great to use for Save the Dates and Bridal Shower decor. So hop on Pinterest, get some photo inspiration, and follow these few simple steps...

What you'll need:
   1. Digital Camera
   2. Tripod/Selfie stick
   3. Editing program (Instagram or Picmonkey are my recommendations)
   4. Time and patience
Because I am an OCD Bride I also brought a print out of my favorite poses for inspiration.

We set up the camera on the tripod and had the other stand in the frame to know we would be in the shot. Then we used a 3 minute timer that took multiple pictures at a time and just continued to pose. It took us a little while to feel comfortable in front of the camera but once we did the pictures came out beautiful!!

Because we did them ourselves we were able to take our time and get every shot we really wanted. We also got to keep every single photo unedited, which if you've ever hired a photographer before you know you don't actually get every single shot. Overall it was a fun experience and more relaxed because it was just the two of us!
