Growing Pains
Cold nights, warm days, and a new front yard view whenever we want. Getting use to our home on wheels didn't take long and really, isn't that much different than our sedentary home. Before we headed off in H.O.W, I was a little worried about my ruff- house boys (husband and furbaby) and all our belongings being crammed into a 27 foot box.
Like always, Mr. Battaglia's meticulously planning and stern persuasion to rid all things deemed unnecessary... Like my third pair of black boots even though they were, "my favorite!". To my disbelief we I donated about 6 boxes of "un-necessaries", leaving a surprising amount of room in our spacious 2 cabinet/ under bed closets. After 4 1/2 years I should just know my husband's OCD is always right.
All in all, down sizing in a big way has been a blessing. Everyday we realize things like, a can opener and spatula taking up space is a lot more important than the junk that once accumulated in our drawers before. Life lessons being taught in the most realistic way possible and for that I am grateful.
