On the road again...

Wow! Just a little over one week on the road and my heart is overflowing with gratitude. He blesses us every single day. Mr. Battaglia and I have traveled 2,000 miles with our home-on-wheels, of course not all has gone to plan but it is always an adventure. By now, we are use to opening the door to a new site each morning, never taking the drive thru anymore, and driving at approximately 60 mph always using the tow- mode!

Georgia was... interesting. It was a place to hook up the H.O.W (home on wheels) and sleep in air condition, there wasn't much more at the friendly exit 75 "RV Resort". Should've known from the creativity that went into naming the place. Then there was Tennessee where we felt our first real hints of fall and the basic white girl in me lost it! Fall is my favorite, y'all! This was the first place we took a day to just rest and let the fact that we are on our dream trip sink in. If you know Mr. Battaglia one whole day of rest is MORE than enough and after 2 nights we were off again and headed for the Rockies.

Those beautiful mountains hold such a special place in our hearts. We fell in love with the state of Colorado together, sealing the deal with having THE most perfect wedding in Breckenridge this past April. This rocky tundra will always be so much more to us than just a place we've vacationed. Arriving in this great state truly made the trip seem real.

We have done it!

& to think this journey has just begun.
