What's next?

 

    We have been in much prayer about what's next when our time ends on our beautiful little island. Site 8 is the Battaglia Tribe's until the first of the new year. Let me tell you, I am a "sign" person. I don't know how many times I've said to my husband, "We just have to look for the signs.", and I would say the end of one event happening on the birth of a new year is a definite sign! I may not know exactly what, but it gives me assurance that our third eyes are open and our spirit ears are ready to hear God's will for our next chapter.

    My husband is more of a planner than I and in many aspects we are the perfect balance for each other. As the days go by and he plans our next trip a little more, all I can do is smile because it's so obvious that even though I'm a "sign" person, God knows David needs more detail and speaks to him as he spins his wheels planning. We both agree the more we are open, the more opportunities will come our way. 

 

  I'm excited to share the desires of our hearts while we listen for direction. We bought our truck and camper knowing we wanted to travel full time but also knowing this wasn't our end goal. Neither of us had seen much of the United States before traveling together so how were we to know where we would eventually want to start our own family? Even more, what about our existing family? 

    We dream about owning land that can house our growing families, that can provide food, and the comfort of community. I can see it now; rustic, tiny house- cabins, special ones for our loving parents, situated on sprawling land, with a bountiful garden! Where at the end of every day, we all come together in our outdoor kitchen, seated around a hand built table large enough to fit the entire tribe! Oh goodness, I get excited just thinking about it! 

    So even though we don't know all the details yet, God know's our heart's desires and we can already see the doors opening preparing us for our dreams. I am so grateful for the time we've had and have left here in Florida and look to the future with nothing but excitement!
